Our Story
How Diamond Ridge Began
Diamond Ridge started the way most great things do — with one dog who changed everything. Our first Corgi, Hazel, arrived on a rainy November evening and promptly rearranged our entire lives. Her intelligence, her loyalty, and that unmistakable Corgi personality convinced us that these dogs deserved to be bred with the same care and intention they give back to their families.
We're a small, home-based kennel located in the foothills of the Cascade Range in Washington State. Our dogs live inside with us, run our property, and are raised as full members of the family — not as kennel dogs. Every litter is whelped in our home, handled daily from birth, and socialized with children, other animals, and the sights and sounds of everyday life.
We joined the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America and committed to breeding to the AKC standard — not just for looks, but for the temperament and working ability that make Corgis so special. Health testing came first, always. We won't breed a dog that hasn't cleared hips, eyes, DM, and vWD.

Where We Are
Life on the Ridge
We're based in the foothills east of Seattle, Washington — surrounded by Douglas fir, morning fog, and the kind of quiet that makes Corgis (and people) very happy. Our property gives the dogs room to run, explore, and be dogs. Visitors are welcome by appointment.

Every Diamond Ridge puppy comes with a written health guarantee. We stand behind the health of our dogs and will work with you if a hereditary condition arises. Details are provided in your puppy contract.
